Save the Tales (of MU)!
Dec. 2nd, 2008 10:48 amEDIT: Hee, she just raised like double her December donation goal in less than 24 hours. AWESOME. For those of you who donated to save MU, and for the others who were incredibly kind enough to send ME money (through my donation button on my profile page), please let me know if there is any way I can make return for your generosity. Any bunnies you wish to have retroactively bribed me to write? :D

Y'all, y'all! One of the awesomest web serials ever, Tales of MU, is on the point of going under due to lack of funds. That will make me cry, seriously. If you read it and have a few dollars to spare, please consider donating to save it; if you don't read it, please consider checking it out and seeing if it's something you'd be willing to cough up to keep around. Cause I mean, if you like my writing, this lady is incredible. The story is set during the protagonist's freshman year in college in an AD&D-derived universe, and there's epic worldbuilding and over-9000 awesomeness of characterization and thrilling fight sequences and heart-stopping thaumatological lectures and hot culinary action.
Oh, and endless kinky sex, if you like that sort of thing. And if you aren't into girl-on-girl (or girl-on-boy, or girl-on-elfblood-preop-transwoman, or girl-on-divine-incarnation-of-fertility-principle, or two-mermaids-on-girl), there's also More Tales of MU, which has a bisexual (and cock-lovin') elfblood boy as its protagonist.
And even if you don't check it out-- if you're too busy or not into fantasy or bildungsroman or whatever-- you could consider this a solstice gift for me. I know the economy is crap and we're all strapped for cash-- I am kind of broke myself at the moment, due to a couple of those lovely things that are always going wrong at the best possible time, such as the holidays-- but if you do manage to kick some money at my dear online reading material, let me know in a comment or PM or e-mail (discretionsbetterpart at gmail dot com) and I'll see if I can't come up with a pleasant way to demonstrate my gratitude.
