This is the story I've written for prompt #16 over at
unusuallygen, which
lothy created with the following challenge:
The idea of this challenge is to take plot themes which are usually associated with relationship fics, and write them as gen.
I set the story in the Slave Breakers universe. It's connected with the current arcs, but I think-- at least I hope-- it also stands alone if you haven't read the rest of the stories.
Title: Comfort
Prompt: 16. General: One character is another person's slave, but they are not lovers. Instead, they are more like family.
Summary: When a man's highborn lover rejects him, to whom should he turn for comfort but his pretty, naked slave girl?
